beginsasadrawingandendsupthefinishedtattooon
skin.Inthiscasetheclientalreadyhadatigertattooed
onhisleftarmthatwentfromjustabovehiselbowand
ontohischest,sohewantedthedragontofillasimilar
space.Thetiger’s headison hischestwith the body
going down his arm, so the same composition was
decideduponforthedragon onhisrightarm.Healso
requestedwatertobethebackground,andittobeblue
asopposedtothemoretraditionalblackandgraythatis
more commonly used in Japanese style tattooing. A
blackandgraybackgroundgivesyoumoreoptionsfor
colortobeusedinthesubjectmatterasyoudon’thave
to worryabouttheothercolorsbeinglost in theblue
water.Ontheotherhand,usingbluemakeseverything
verybright,andIpersonallyfeelthatblueistheprettiest
tattoo pigment there is.
