he familiar façade of the
two-storey residence built in the
Southern colonial revival style
shines like a white beacon, a landmark
for Elvis fans. Outside of its natural habitat
at 3764 Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis,
you couldn’t possibly imagine it. Except that
it has been re-imagined; transplanted from
Tennessee to the unremarkable landscape of
Randers, in Denmark.
Here, along with those iconic music
gates, an Elvis statue and a reconstruction
of his Tupelo birthplace, lies an unrivalled
