Abstract
This study is on Islamic archaeology of Ajlun County, it contains of
introduction, geographic and climate brief on the area of study.
The main study composed of three chapters and conclusion.
The first chapter is on the archaeology of Ajlun castle, it outlined the
strategic location and the stages of the castle parts from 1184 AD-1260 AD.
The second chapter contains the Islamic Masjids along the all Islamic
periods from Omayyad, Ayoubid and Osmanid.
The third chapter is on water mills on three valleys of Ajlun, which include
more than 40 mills, most of them destroyed except one restored and return to
life, it is Odeh mill on Wadi Elrayyan.
The study ended with conclusion of the study which contains many
original pictures and top plans done the first time.
