See your owner’s manual for fuse locations and functions. An inexpensive test light is the easiest way to check
a fuse’s condition. Clip the test light’s negative lead to the battery’s negative cable, then touch the tip to each
leg, or end of the fuse, in turn. On plastic blade-style fuses, there’s a little slot or opening at the top of each
leg; that’s where to touch with the probe. If power is available at the fuse and the fuse is good, the test light
will glow on both sides. If the fuse is bad, it will only glow on the power or battery side of the fuse. Another
way is to remove the fuse and check it visually. The wire in a bad fuse will be broken.
