Application of a high-quality wax is the best way to apply wax to preserve your paint. There are electric
buffers available on the market that you can use. The problem with these tools is that use of an electric buffer
can and does result in “burning the paint” if too much downward pressure along with too fast a buffer speed
is used. I have told many DIY’ers who burned their paint because of improper use of the buffer that if you
insist on using an electric buffer, get instruction from a pro before embarking. Otherwise, you could do some
serious damage to your car’s paint.
