Tom,

Q I would like to know if you could tell me the difference between a

powertrain warranty and a drivetrain warranty, please?

Shari—New York City

Shari,

A Powertrain includes all components that power the car: the engine, turbo

or super charger (if equipped), and all related engine components. Drivetrain
usually relates to the transmission, differential, axles, wheels, and anything
that drives the car forward through gears and axles. I hope this helps clear
things up a bit. Oh, one other thing: Read the warranty policy closely, it will
explain exactly what is covered and what is not.
