GRAPH 1 : Power vs RPM (test at 82% Sun equivalent)
Examination of graph 1 above shows,
- Maximum power output through an electronics unit is slightly lower than the
maximum panel power. This is expected as no electronics can be 100%
 efficient.
- The electronics unit, holds its maximum power output constant down to about
6 volts and drops out at about 4 volts. By this stage the power from a motor
connected directly to the panel power has fallen significantly.
- Maximum motor power with electronics is slightly higher than without. (With
a high efficiency electronics unit in use.)
- The power obtained from a motor connected directly to the panel falls in a
similar manner to the panel power. No one would choose to operate at below 5
watts which gives an operating RPM band between about 15000 and 19000
RPM. A range of 4000 RPM.
- The motor output power when it is powered through an electronics unit
generally follows the power output of the electronics. For the same 5 watts
