“I was still growing up at that point,” Heather
Baron-Gracie, the lead singer of Pale Waves,
has revealed to Apple Music about the
success achieved by the English indie rock
band’s first studio album in 2018. This helps
to explain the sense of self-discovery that
permeates the follow-up release.

released in 2020 – were “Change” and “She’s
My Religion”. - Baron-Gracie admitted to Apple Music
that she didn’t decide to make “Change” the
album’s opening track until “most people
around me in my life” suggested that

“She’s My Religion”: “I’ve been open about my
sexuality for a while, but I’ve never put it into
