“However,oncewestartedworkit was

obvioushowwelltheschoolhadbeenbuilt

andlookedafterupuntilitsclosure;shehad

goodbones,”saysJade.Morebucketsofwhite

paintworkedwondersontheinterioranda

smallextensionwasaddedtoimprove the

generalflowofthespace.

Twoyearsafteropeningtheirevents

venue,thecouplesaytheylove

everythingabouttherenovation.Although

they’renotdoneyet– futureplansinclude

doubleglazingwhenthebudgetallows.

“Peoplethoughtwewerecrazytakingthis

projectonbutwereallyenjoyedit andlove

welcomingvisitorstothisspecialpartofthe

world.We’dbekeentodoanotherprojectif we

could find the right property,” Jade says.•
