Solanaceae in yeast. H6H orthologues from Anisodus acutangulus (AaH6H),
Brugmansia arborea (BaH6H), Datura metel (DmH6H), Datura stramonium
(DsH6H), or a negative control (BFP) were expressed from low-copy plasmids in
CSY1251. Transformed cells were cultured in selective media supplemented
with 1 mM hyoscyamine for 72 h before LC–MS/MS analysis of culture
supernatant. Data represent the mean of n = 3 biologically independent
samples (open circles) and error bars show s.d. P < 0.05, P < 0.01, P < 0.001,
