Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM). An example of amatrix-based chart is a responsibility
assignmentmatrix(RAM)thatshowstheprojectresourcesassignedtoeachworkpackage.Itisusd
toillustratetheconnectionsbetweenworkpackagesoractivitiesandprojectteammembers.On
largerprojects,RAMscanbedevelopedatvariouslevels.Forexample,ahigh-levelRamcandefine
theresponsibilitiesofaprojectteam,group,orunitwithineachcomponentoftheWBS.Lower-level
RAMsareused within thegroup to designateroles, responsibilities,and levelsofauthority for
