(Nora) #1
rst cuppa of the day – what’s happening?
y first cuppa is always a breakfast tea, in bed if
ssible – I need at least two cups to get going!
sually start my day – guiltily – creating social
edia posts for early morning scrollers.
ll us a bit about what you do.
tarted Siân Esther last June, with a social
ssion to help vulnerable and disadvantaged
omen. I’d struggled to find nightwear suitable
r gifts that wasn’t too frumpy or sexy. I was
ustrated seeing the number of homeless women
the street when I worked in London, and after
ing my parents and struggling to sleep with
ief, I decided to create a brand that was
rpose driven. We empower women through
e way our products are manufactured and the
arities that we support. I now work from
me, usually on the kitchen table.
e’re putting the kettle on. What do you

fancy? And in which mug?
A normal English breakfast, milk, no sugar and
strong. I love my “Eat cake for breakfast” mug,
which was given to me as a present (pictured).
Who’s your favourite tea-drinking companion?
I’ve a good friend, Emma, who’s a tea-tank like
me. She introduced me to a nice mix: one Earl
Grey bag and one English breakfast bag in a pot.
And what happens in the afternoon?
I’ll usually carry out my post office trips or do
more creative activities, such as branding or PR.
Be honest now. How early do you allow
yourself to put your PJs on?
I believe you can wear pyjamas as daywear!
Realistically though, after dinner – we call it
‘closing down’ in my family. My husband is
usually the one who encourages me to switch off!
One last cuppa?
In bed. And Earl Grey would be my preference.
