Written below is my own little list of getting traffic to your blog for both free and
paid ways.
Free Ways of getting traffic to your blog
Post Contents Regularly on your blog so as to attract traffic from Google,
because Google search bots pick up blogs that have updates regularly.
Create a Facebook Page and invite your friends to like your page, and post
contents to that page; and in the process of doing this add up a link back to
your blog.
Create a Facebook Group and add all your friends to that group; note that
facebook will not allow you to add all your friends in one day if they are
much, so check your group everyday and add until you can see the numbers
of group members as high as your friends or even more than as some other
people that are not your friends will also like to join your group. The way to
get traffic from this is also the same as for the Facebook Page which is post
contents to that group; and in the process of doing this add up a link back to
your blog.
Create a twitter profile for your blog; that is, create a twitter account with the
name of your blog and after doing this search twitter for people with
thousands of followers that are also into the king of niche you are into and
start following their friends. Follow as many as you can but there are daily
limits of following 1000 people on twitter and do not overdo it or you will
be banned.
