In the above picture, you can see that the title tag is “OLABAYS BLOG –
Business”. Make sure you add your keywords in the title tag of your blog as seen
in the picture above if you know you want to rank higher in search engines.
For example if you have a name like High-Tech as the name of your blog make
sure you add your keywords like High Tech – science | latest technology | tech and
so on this is just an example of what I mean.
Keyword Research - If you as a blogger want to get good traffic from Google
search engine always make sure you know what people are searching for before
you start writing contents. There are tons of keyword tools out there you can use to
see what people are searching for online.
Anchor text - The text that appears highlighted in a hypertext link and that can be
clicked to open the target web page. For instance if I created a link for “Click here
to visit Google” and add hypertext link to it you can see that when that is clicked it
goes to Google. Now the anchor text there is “Click here to visit Google”. One way
to use this is by using variations of your keywords in posts and linking them to
other pages in you blog.
Get Links – Getting links to your blog is very important as it can also play a big
role in getting traffic for you. Besides improving your search rankings, they also
bring in visitors to your site as well so it’s a win-win for you. If you get links from
a blog that is getting lots of traffic, you could see a huge traffic explosion. Link-
building is still one great way to get free traffic to your blog. Just keep getting solid
links from top sites with visitors and people will start visiting your blog.
