shape you are about to draw. Drag to create an ellipse that overlaps the edge of the orange
shape.
The part of the ellipse that is outside of the orange shape is being hidden.
7. Choose Edit > Undo Ellipse to get rid of the ellipse.
You can also place or paste content into a shape with Draw Inside mode active.
8. Choose Object > Show All to show the island artwork again, which is behind the orange shape.
9. Select the Selection tool ( ) in the Tools panel, and choose Edit > Cut to cut the selected
island artwork from the artboard.
- Choose Edit > Paste In Place.
