5. Click to select the white rounded corner square on the top of the left artboard.

6. Press Command and + (macOS) or Ctrl and + (Windows) a few times to zoom in.

7. Choose Select > Deselect.

You’ll draw a few lines so you can color parts of the logo with different colors using Live

Paint.

8. Select the Line Segment tool (/) from the Rectangle tool ( ) group in the Tools panel.

9. Press the D key to set the default fill of white and stroke of black for the lines you are about to

draw.

    Move the pointer over the top corner of the smaller black square. Drag up to make a line to the
    top corner of the larger white square.

    Repeat this for the three other corners of the smaller black square (see the figure).
