Adobe Illustrator CC Classroom in a Book (2019 Release), First Edition

Select the Live Paint Bucket tool ( ) in the Tools panel. Click the Fill color in the Properties
panel and select a white color. Move the pointer over the purple background below the purple
line. When you see a red outline, click to paint it white.

Select the Selection tool, and with the Live Paint object selected, double-click the Live Paint
object to enter Isolation mode.

Select the Direct Selection tool. Move the pointer over the left anchor point on the purple line
and click to select it. Press and drag the point up to reshape it.
