REFRESHERS


Made with a fl avorful
blend of fruits,
vegetables, and
herbs, these pops
are the perfect
treat on a hot day.

Purée 2½ cups chopped honey-
dew, 2 cups chopped English
cucumber, 1∕2 cup water, 3 table-
spoons light agave syrup, 1 table-
spoon fresh lemon juice, a large
pinch of cayenne pepper, and
a pinch of kosher salt in a blender
until very smooth, about 1 minute.
Pour into ice-pop molds and freeze,
at least 2 hours or overnight.


Makes: 10 three-ounce ice pops

Purée 3 cups blueberries, 1 cup
roughly chopped yellow bell
pepper, ½ cup water, ¼ cup packed
fresh mint, 3 tablespoons light
agave syrup, 1 tablespoon fresh
lemon juice, and a pinch of
kosher salt in a blender until very
smooth, about 1 minute. Pour
into ice-pop molds and freeze,
at least 2 hours or overnight.
Makes: 10 three-ounce ice pops
