“We always knew Cooper would be part of our big day. He is the third member

of our trio, so to us it was as much his day as ours. We’ve hiked, camped,

and backpacked with him and spent just about every holiday together for over

five years. And yet, we worried the excitement of the wedding day would pose too

big a risk to his safety. So we made the tough(est) decision to keep him separated

from the chaos of the festivities. It was only appropriate that our first post-

ceremony photo would be with our favorite guy—the one we were most eager to

share our happiness with (sorry Mom and Dad!). We knelt down to ease his

anxious whimpers and of course to receive those enthusiastic, FOMO-laden
