Be aware that Text Box shape objects cannot display more than 255 characters.
Creating linked pictures
A linked picture is a special kind of shape that displays a live picture of everything in a
given range. Think of a linked picture as a camera that monitors a range of cells.
To “take a picture” of a range, follow these steps:
- Select the range.
- Press Ctrl+C to copy the range.
- Activate another cell.
- Choose Home ➪ Paste ➪ Linked Picture (see Figure 23.21).
The result is a live picture of the range you selected in step 1.
