- Choose Data ➪ Get & Transform Data ➪ Get Data ➪ Legacy Wizards ➪ From Text
(Legacy). The Import Text File dialog box appears. - Navigate to the folder that contains the text file.
- Select the file from the list and then click the Import button. The Text Import
Wizard appears, as shown in Figure 25.5.

Step 1 of the Text Import Wizard- Select Delimited and make sure that the My Data Has Headers check box is
unchecked. Click Next to go to step 2. - Choose Comma as the delimiter (see Figure 25.6).
- Click the Finish button. The Import Data dialog box appears, as shown in
F i g u r e 25.7. - In the Import Data dialog box, specify the location for the imported data. It
can be a cell in an existing worksheet or a new worksheet. - Click OK, and Excel imports the data (see Figure 25.8).
