Fast forward six months. Kate and Justin’s
relationship began turning down a very, dark, bumpy
road. Justin began disrespecting her. They argued a
lot and things just took a turn for the worst.
Between you and me, there were red flags to
begin with, but it wasn’t enough to cause Kate to
think that things would begin to blow up in her face,
so suddenly, only after six months. However, she
found herself trying to look over too many incidents.
Justin had a temper. He also had a habit of taking
out his work and life frustrations on her, the more
comfortable he got within the relationship. The
incidents began to pile up, one on top of the other.
She lost count. The constant arguing, the constant
going back and forth, his being disrespectful was
weighing Kate down. Their relationship had hit a
major snag and it was getting out of hand.
After putting up with the downturn of their
relationship for another two months, Kate finally
decided, “You know what, I can’t do this anymore.
Clearly, he must not love me because he doesn’t
respect me. He doesn’t do what I need him to do.
I’m going to end the relationship.”
