Integrated Technical Analysis

Figure 27.25 depicts price approaching Point X, which represents a high‐
probability long entry. We see a bullish dynamic price confluence provided by
the support of a lower Bollinger Band and uptrend line, accompanied by above
average volume, and the stochastic oscillator being at the oversold (OS) level, on
the hourly chart of the EURUSD. Notice how price rebounded to the upside upon
testing the supportive confluence at Point X.

time Clusters
Single time overlays and clusters indicate potential time lines of price activity.
There is generally no information about the precise levels of potential reversals
or reactions in price (with the exception of cycle‐based projection). All informa-
tion lies purely on the time axis. Just as for price‐static and price‐dynamic single
overlays and clusters, time line predictions are predicated or based on significant
inflection points in price. Forecasted time lines of potential activity are projected
from significantly clear and obvious peaks and troughs.
Below is a list of popular time indicators that form the basis of time clusters:

■ (^) Period number counts: Fibonacci and Lucas Number Counts
■ (^) Varying ratio expansions of selected durations based on significant price rang-
es: Fibonacci Time Ratio Projections
■ (^) Number based ratio expansions of selected durations based on significant
price ranges: Fibonacci Time Zone Projections
■ (^) Fixed one‐to‐one ratio expansions of selected durations based on significant
price ranges: Cycle Projection of Peaks and Troughs
■ (^) Mathematically derived projections: Gann’s Square of Nine Time Projections
