TRICHOMONAS VAGINITIS
Trichomonas vaginitis is the most common cause of vaginal complaints
worldwide and the second most common sexually transmitted disease (STD) in
the United States. It is caused by a flagellated pear-shaped protozoan that can
reside asymptomatically in male seminal fluid.
