Challenge Level
Since this trek is fairly strenuous, you might want an extra rest day. The ascent of Jebel
Toubkal takes place on the sixth day, allowing five days of acclimatisation to altitude. Most of
the route is above 2000m, with several passes over 3000m.

Late April to late June is ideal: alpine flowers bloom April–May and by June, when Marrakesh is
