much-needed hipness in stuffy North Ad-
elaide, Store is a combo of casual Parisian
bistro and jazzy cafe. The decor is retro-
kitsch (Art Nouveau posters, stag horns,
Tretchikoff prints), while on your plate you
can expect rapid-fire pastas, risottos, burg-
ers and classy fish, chicken and beef dishes,
none of which will break the bank. Impres-
sive wine list, too.

from the era of King Louis XIII (all moody


mirrors, velvet, dark wood, candles and
chandeliers), d’Artagnan is bravely pushing
the boundaries of the Adelaide dining ex-
perience (places you can eat after 9pm are
almost unheard of). Expect meaty mains
cooked with Franco flair. No sign of the
other musketeers...
