Strolling thewaterfront one afternoon,I was on the lookout for thedistincively shaped dhowsthat have sailed the IndianOcean for millennia. Whenone appeared during sunset,it was more than I could’vewished for. The area is usuallyfilled with tourists duringthe day but it isn’t crowdedat dusk. I decided to takeadvantage of the quiet andcontinue on through theHeadlands. I found myselfin the clouds, completelyalone and undisturbed,looking down at the GoldenGate Bridge from 270metres up.
