Becoming a Perfect 10 with a Little Help

I had doubts about including a chapter dedicated to hormone replacement when
The Perfect 10 Diet is simply a diet book. There have been countless books
written for people with specific hormone problems, such as diabetes, thyroid
disease, and cortisol imbalances, but that would mean reading multiple books
(with conflicting information) since they are all geared toward a specific topic.
This would only lead to confusion.
At the end, I realized that the Perfect 10 Diet is the crown jewel of all diets,
and it must address all hormonal imbalances that plague our society today and
all the health issues related to nutrition. For this reason, we must all aim to
balance these ten hormones because their impact on each other and overall
health is huge.
If you’re a perfect 10 by now because you followed everything I told you to
do, great. But what if you’re only an 8 or a 7? That’s not good. Chances are that
when you get older, this number will go down to 6 or even 5. Don’t despair. The
Perfect 10 Diet can give you a makeover at any age. Becoming a perfect 10 is
easy and achievable with a little help. No, I’m not talking about a new wardrobe,
a stylish haircut, or plastic surgery. (That’s not my field.) I am talking about
balancing your ten hormones with supplements or hormones when the Perfect 10
Diet is not enough.
You see, when you’re young and healthy, your hormones are in balance. Sure,
they can get messed up prematurely because of a poor diet or disease, such as
diabetes or a thyroid problem. But what about when you get a little older and hit
menopause, or its male equivalent, andropause? Your sex hormones will simply
disappear, and DHEA and HGH will go, too. The Perfect 10 Diet will help, but it
may not be enough. You still need all your hormones, regardless of your
chronological age.
Throughout history, medical science has maintained that aging, along with its
chronic problems, is an unavoidable process of nature we must learn to live with
and accept without question. But as a member of the American Academy of
Anti-Aging Medicine, I became convinced that becoming old and weak,
suffering from numerous aches and pains, and becoming depressed does not
have to happen.
