Shrimp in Garlic Butter

INGREDIENTS
8 jumbo shrimp, in shells
2 tablespoons butter, divided
1½ cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon dry white wine
½ tablespoon snipped fresh chives or parsley, for garnish
Pinch salt
DIRECTIONS
- If frozen, thaw shrimp. Peel and devein.
- Rinse and dry shrimp.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter and the
garlic. - Cook, stirring, until butter is melted. Add the shrimp. Continue to cook,
stirring frequently, for 1 to 3 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink. - Loosen any browned bits, and stir.
- Add the wine and remaining butter to the skillet. Pour over the shrimp.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet, and transfer to a platter.
- Sprinkle with chives or parsley, add salt, and serve.
