- Complete the shape by clicking the first control point.
Note
Remember, new shapes will have the same appearance you last selected in the
Essential Graphics panel. You can easily change the settings.
- Try changing the fill color, adding a stroke, and changing the stroke color while the shape is
selected.
You will need to switch to the selection tool and select the shape as an object to see changes
made to the stroke.
- Create a new shape with the Pen tool. This time, instead of just clicking, drag each time you
click.
Dragging when you click creates control points with Bezier handles; these are the same
handles you experimented with when setting up keyframes. These handles give you precise
control over the shape you have created.
