Dream trip for 2012: “I would love
to travel to Costa Rica in 2012.
Great photo opps. And good surf.”
John Dole
A native of San Diego, John has been pho-
tographing professionally in and around
Southern California for the last seven years.
Some of his favorite subjects are people
and architectural interiors. Things that he
loves about San Diego are the ocean (of
course), weather (can’t beat it), the diversity
from neighborhood to neighborhood, and
its all-around beauty. Although he loves to
travel, he’ll always call San Diego home.

diego.org’s Fact Check TV and the “San
Diego Explained” features on NBC 7
San Diego. He lives in Ocean Beach
with his wife and son.

Shape, Modern Bride, and others. During her
travels, she has had the good fortune to dive
the Great Barrier Reef, climb volcanoes in Bali,
sip ceremonial kava with Fijian chie ains, and
bungee jump in New Zealand. She is the editor-
in-chief of Exquisite Weddings and has a travel

Dream trip
for 2012:
“I want to take
my daughter to
dolphin camp
at Anthony’s
Key Resort on
the little island
of Roatan off
Honduras.”
Luis Garcia
For photographer Luis Garcia, shooting a home game
of the Xoloitzcuintles de Tijuana reminded him of the
time he lived in Italy and went to soccer games. He also
photographed chef Javier Plascencia and some of his food
creations at Mision 19. “The best thing about shooting
food is getting to taste it a erwards—the pork belly ta-
cos were the best I’ve ever had.”
