west. Before Fisherman’s Wharf, turn south toward

onto Alvarado St, passing the historical Monterey
Hotel, theaters, shops, bars and cafes. Continue to
Munras Ave and across the street.Cooper-Molera Adobe
A stately 19th-century home, the
Cooper-Molera Adobe (%831-649-7172;

1:30pm Fri-Sun) was built by John Rogers
Cooper, a New England sea captain.
Over time, bountiful gardens were
