La isla Santa Cruz le permitirá conocer el Servicio Parque Nacional
Galápagos y la Estación Científica Charles Darwin que le informará
sobre la geología, la evolución de las especies tanto endémicas
como introducidas. No se pierda el criadero de las célebres tortugas
para que se fotografíe con las famosas gigantes de 2 siglos de vida.
Al sur de la isla está la Bahía Tortuga que recibe masivas visitas de
tortugas marinas en época de anidación.Si le atrae la actividad volcánica, su guía le llevará la Isla Isabela en
donde también le acompañarán las tortugas gigantes o las iguanas
marinas, los flamingos, cormoranes no voladores y pingüinos.La isla Española es el sitio preferido de los albatros, el cucuve,
la iguana marina; en la Isla Plaza Sur podrá participar de una de
las colonias de lobos marinos más grandes de la región y en la
Genovesa observará a los extraños piqueros de patas rojas.No se pierda el Islote Tintoreras donde podrá nadar junto al lobo
marino o a las tortugas carey pero, sobre todo, mirar a una inmensa
colonia de tiburones tintorera dormir durante el día.Pero Galápagos también es único por su Flora, hay más de
220 especies de plantas endémicas, 400 nativas y apenas 120
introducidas. Algunas son únicas en el mundo.Si bien su visita será mayormente terrestre en donde podrá hacer
caminatas, trekking, ciclismo y acampada, hay sitios asignados
para buceo de superficie y profundidad, natación, surf, kayac y
pesca vivencial. A diferencia del resto del mundo, el atractivo para
el buzo no está en los arrecifes de coral sino en la indescriptible
mezcla de animales marinos que no tienen recelo de los humanos
y que vienen atraídos por la confluencia de corrientes tropicales y

en la Reserva Marina, admirar paisajes volcánicos, comer cebiche
de Canchalagua, nadar en las “grietas del amor”, bucear en las

The Galapagos National Park Service and the Charles Darwin Research
Station are located in the island of Santa Cruz where you can learn
about geology, the evolution of both endemic and introduced species.
Do not miss to watch the breeding of turtles at Charles Darwin Station
where you can be photographed with the famous giant turtles which
are 2 centuries old. To the south of the island is Tortuga Bay which
receives massive visits of sea turtles during their nesting season.If you feel attracted by the volcanic activity, your guide will take you
to Isabela island and you will enjoy the company of giant turtles and
marine iguanas, flamingos, penguins and flightless cormorants.Española island is the preferred site of albatrosses, the mockingbird
called “cucuve”, the marine iguana; in the South Plaza Island you can
watch the largest colonies of sea lions in the region and on Genovesa
you can observe strange red-footed boobies.Remember to visit the islet of Tintoreras where you can swim with the
sea lions or hawksbill turtles but, above all, watch an immense colony
of sharks called “tintoreras” sleeping during the day.Galapagos is also unique for its Flora, there are over 220 species of
