Well, the first round went to Zach—in a sense. Actually, it
didn’t go to anybody, since we all wound up feeling miserable.
You can’t beat public humiliation for pure fun—and, believe
me, we’d been through plenty of scenes like the one you just
witnessed.
We just couldn’t keep on like this. We were getting
discouraged, and we had to do something different. But exactly
what was that “something” going to be?
Feeling desperate, I decided to try a product that I thought at
the time would be a long shot.
