After our talk, there were times when I thought my husband
understood what I was saying, but most of the time I felt I
wasn’t getting anywhere. He hadn’t read the book, so I got the
1-2-3 Magic DVD (which I thought was just as good as the
book). My husband hinted—but only hinted—that he might be
willing to watch the DVD, but only if I wasn’t in the room!
Why are adult males so hard to talk to? Zach’s behavior
remained awful. As far as I was concerned, we were still in a big
pickle—stuck with nowhere to go.
