Allah declared:I has
“Has the storyreached you of the
honoured Guests ofIbrahim? Behold,
they entered Hispresence, and said,
‘Peace (be uponyou)!” He replied,
‘Peace (be upon youtoo),” and thought,
‘These seem to bestrangers’.” Then he
turned quickly to hishousehold, brought
out a fatted calf, andplaced it before them
saying, ‘Will you noteat?’ ”Hadith
Our beloved ProphetMuhammad esaid:
“He who believes inAllah and the last day
should honour hisguest. Provision for
the road are what willsuffice for a day and
night. Hospitalityextends for three
days - what goesbeyond that is charity.
And it is not allowablethat a guest should
stay till he makeshimself an encumber-
ance.”
“When one goes tohis brother Muslim’s
house and takesmeals there, then he
should pray for themercy and blessings
of Allah for him. Thisis the (best) gift to
him.”
“One should wel-come his guest by
coming out of hisdoor, and while bid-
ding farewell Heshould accompany
him to the door of thehouse.”☺ ☺
