The requirements for health and wellbeing of persons on construction
sites are enforced by the Health and Safety Executive, through the
Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Construction
(Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996. The following minimum
requirements apply and the numbers of persons on site were established
by the Construction Regulations of 1966.
