Major seventh chords


Major seventh chords (maj7), are similar to dominant seventh chords, but they include the natural seventh note in the major scale, rather than a flattened one. For
example, Cmaj7 would feature C, E, G, and B, rather than the Bb from the dominant, as B is the seventh note in the C major scale. Using a major seventh chord will
give your tunes a warm, happy feel.
