Moisturizing Bath Salts


It  is  important   to  use solar-dried sea salts   for your    recipes rather  than
table salt. Naturally dried salts retain the rich vitamins, minerals, trace
elements, and amino acids of the sea. Sea salts have a very high
concentration of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, and bromide,
minerals essential for healthy-looking skin. These minerals are essential
for healthy skin and naturally alleviate redness, irritation, and swelling,
especially in blemished skin. Soaking in mineral-rich sea salts extracts
toxins from your body and relaxes your muscles. So enjoy a long
moisturizing soak in these replenishing bath salts!

YIELDS: 1 pint


1 ⁄ cups solar-dried sea salt ⁄ cup sweet almond oil Essential oil
blend (see Appendix A) What you will need: mixing bowl, spoon,
pint jar with lid



  1. To Make: Place the salt in the bowl. Stir in the sweet almond oil in
    intervals. Add a little, stir, add a little more, stir, until all of the oil is
    mixed into the salt. Do the same with the essential oils. Add a little, stir,
    add a little more, stir, until all of the essential oils are mixed into the salt.

  2. To Store: Store in a sealed jar labeled with contents and expiration date
    of 6 months.

  3. To Use: Draw a bath. When the tub is full, add the bath salts to the water
    and swish around. Get in the tub and soak for at least 20 minutes, or
    longer to enjoy maximum therapeutic benefits of the active botanical
    ingredients. When you are finished soaking, rinse off in the shower to
