YIELDS: 21 ounces
⁄ cup extra-virgin coconut oil ⁄ cup sweet almond oil 3
tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 cup turbinado sugar
⁄ cup brown rice flour 2 teaspoons turmeric
What you will need: blender, rubber spatula, mixing bowl, measuring
cups, fork, jars and lids to fit 21 ounces of scrub
- To Make: Place the coconut oil, sweet almond oil, honey, and sesame
seeds into the blender. Blend until you have a creamy, uniform
consistency. The sesame seeds will retain some texture. Using the rubber
spatula, scrape the mixture into the mixing bowl. Add the turbinado
sugar, brown rice flour, and turmeric, blending the ingredients together
with a fork until well mixed.
