GRILLED TRI-TIP
NOTE: If desired, add a few chunks of oak that have been
soaked in water for 30 minutes to the coals. The tri-tip
can be replaced by a boneless top sirloin roast.
SERVES 4 TO 6
1 tri-tip roast (about 2½ pounds)
4 medium cloves garlic, minced or grated on a
Microplane (about 4 teaspoons)
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
