pasta, bread, cheese, chocolate, ice cream . . . you name it. I know that the
problem is not the foods I put in my body, but the way I think about my
body. When I focus on loving who I am, I naturally go for foods that do
me good. I no longer have to label myself vegan or vegetarian to feel happy
about my diet—I just need to feel content! I know that eating an
abundance of healthy whole nonprocessed foods make me feel balanced
and happy, so I strive for that, but it doesn’t mean I can’t have dessert. I
sometimes joke that dessert is the whole point of eating dinner! And I
mean it. Life is meant to be enjoyed. Don’t cut yourself off from the sweet
things in life. Just listen to your body and you’ll know just how much
sweetness you need. As with everything, balance is key.
