3 Come to the ball of the standing foot, bend the knee, and kick up gently. If you’re a
beginner, do this at the wall! Only kick as high as you can without there being any
fear of falling involved, so go easy and stay patient. Once you get the hips above the
shoulders, pull the lower knee in toward the chest and use the leg as leverage to find
your balance. Use your fingertips as brakes!
