do a Ph.D. on "nothing."When scientists study space, they
usually make it intosomethingandthereby miss its essence
entirely.Not surprisingly,thelatesttheoryisthat space isn't
emptyat all, that it isfilledwithsome substance. Once you
have a theory, ifs not too hard to find evidence to
substantiateit,atleastuntilsomeothertheorycomesalong.
"Nothing" can only become a portal into the
Unmanifestedforyouifyoudon'ttrytograsporunderstand
it.


Isn'tthatwhatwearedoinghere?


Notatall.Iamgivingyoupointerstoshowyouhowyoucan
bringthedimensionof theUnmanifested intoyour life. We
arenottryingtounderstandit.Thereisnothingtounderstand.
Spacehasno"existence.""Toexist"literallymeans"to
stand out." You cannot understand space because it doesn't
standout. Although in itself it has no existence, it enables
everything elseto exist.Silence hasno existence either,nor
doestheUnmanifested.
So what happens if you withdraw attention from the
objectsinspaceandbecomeawareof spaceitself.>What is
the essenceof this room? The furniture,pictures,and so on
are intheroom, buttheyare notthe room. The floor,walls,
andceilingdefinetheboundaryoftheroom,buttheyarenot
the room either.Sowhat is theessenceof the room? Space,
ofcourse,emptyspace.Therewouldbeno"room"withoutit.
Sincespaceis"nothing,"wecansaythatwhatisnotthereis
moreimportant thanwhat is there. So becomeaware of the
spacethatisallaroundyou.Don'tthinkaboutit.Feelit,asit
were.Payattentionto"nothing."
