Kanban

Kanbanis:
A framework that creates the conditions to enable a team
to optimize its work processes and adapt it independently on the
basis of a culture of continuous improvement (Kaizen).
The existing process is improved by many small changes in small steps.
The focus is on the visualization of progress and problems. By limiting the
work in a process, shorter throughput times of work packages are achieved.
In contrast to Scrum, Kanban is an agile procedure model that does not use
iterations. The framework is very simple and flexible and can be applied to all
processes. It promotes flexibility and allows to react quickly to changes.

Kanban

The first Kanban system was already
used by the Japanese company Toyota
in 1947. The word Kanban has its
origin in the Japanese language and
means map.

Kanban Board
While the original Kanban boards were physical boards, today many teams, especially those working
in different locations, use digital boards for example: Kanban Tool, Kanbanik or Kanboard.
