46 Whoever acts righteously does sofor himself; and whoever works evildoes so against himself. Your Lordis not unjust to the servants.مُ ٤٧

يهادِ َن يُ مَيَ وْ

يدٍ

ن شا مِ َّنا مِ كَ مَ
ٰ

اذءَ
47 To Him is referred the knowledgeof the Hour. No fruit emerges fromits sheath, and no female conceivesor delivers, except with Hisknowledge. And on the Day whenHe calls out to them, “Where are Myassociates?” They will say, “Weadmit to you, none of us is awitness.”٤٨

48 What they used to pray to beforewill forsake them, and they willrealize that they have no escape.مُ ٤٩

49 The human being never tires ofpraying for good things; but whenadversity afflicts him, he despairsand loses hope.٥٠

ي ظٍ لِ

ا ب

ع َ ذ
50 And when We let him taste amercy from Us, after the adversitythat had afflicted him, he will say,“This is mine, and I do not think thatthe Hour is coming; and even if I amreturned to my Lord, I will have thevery best with Him.” We will informthose who disbelieve of what theydid, and We will make them taste anawful punishment.ى ٥١

51 When We provide comfort for thehuman being, he withdraws anddistances himself; but whenadversity befalls him, he startslengthy prayers.ندِ عِ ٥٢

52 Say, “Have you considered? If it isfrom Allah and you reject it—who isfurther astray than he who is cutoffand alienated?”
