19 But a calamity from your Lord

went around it while they slept.

ٱ ل ص

20 And in the morning it was as if

picked.

ادنَتَ

َ

ف

َ

ينحِ

ِ

بصْ مُ

21 In the morning, they called to one

another.

22 “Go early to your plantation, if you

are going to harvest.”

ُ

ق

َ

ل

َ

ٱنط

َ

ون

ُ

ت

َ

ف

ٰ

َ

خ يَ تَ مْ

ُ

هوَ

23 So off they went, murmuring to

one another.

ا هَن َّ ٢٤

ل

ُ

خ يَ دْ

َّ

ن لا

َ

مَ أ

ْ

و

َ

ي

ْ

ٱل

ٌ

ي نكِ

ْ

س

ِّ

م م

ُ

ك

ْ

ي

َ

ع َ ل

24 “No poor person is to enter it upon

you today.”

٢٥

َ

ين

ٰ

َ

دٍ ق حَ رْ

ٰ

ى

َ

عَ ل

۟

اوْ

َ

د

َ

غوَ

25 And early they went, resolved in

intent.

ا هَ ٢٦

َ

َ

ون

ُّ

ل

ٓ

ا

َ

ض

َ

ا ل

َّ

ن

ِ

ا

ٓ

و

ُ

ال

26 But when they saw it, they said,

“We were wrong.

27 We are now deprived.”

28 The most reasonable of them said,

“Did I not say to you, ‘if only you

would glorify?’”

ب

ر

ن

ٰ

حَ

ْ

ب

و ا

29 They said, “Glory to our Lord—We

were indeed in the wrong.”

ونمُوَ

ٰ

َ

ل

َ

ضٍ يَت بَعْ

ٰ

ى

َ

عَلمْ

ُ

ه

ُ

ض بَعْ

َ

ل

َ

ب

ْ

ق

َ

أ

َ

ف

30 Then they turned to one another,

blaming one another.

ا ط َّن

ُ

ا ك

َّ

ن

ِ

إ

ٓ

انَ

َ

ليْ

َ

و

ٰ

َ ي

۟

و ا

ُ

ا ل

َ

ق

31 They said, “Woe to us—we were

indeed domineering.

ا ٣٢

َ

ن

ِّ

ب رَ

ٰ

ى

َ

ل

ِ

إ

ٓ

ا

َّ

ن

ِ

إ

ٓ

ا

َ

ه

ْ

ن

ِّ

رًا م

ْ

ي

َ

ا خ

َ

ن

َ

ل

ِ

د

ْ

ب

ُ

ن ي

َ

أ

ٓ

ا

َ

ن

ُّ

ب رَ

ٰ

ى

َ

عَس

َ

ون

ُ

بغِ

ٰ

رَ

32 Perhaps our Lord will give us a

better substitute for it. We are

turning to our Lord.”

َكِل ٣٣

ٰ

َ

ذ

َ

ا بُ ك

َ

ع َ ذ

ْ

ا بُ ۖ ٱ ل

َ

ع َ ذ

َ

ةِرَاخِ ءَ لو َ

ْ

وْ ٱل

َ

ل ۚ

ُ

ر

َ

ب

ْ

ك

َ

أ

َ

و نمُ

َ

لي َ ع ْ

۟

و ا

ُ

ا ن

َ

ك

33 Such is the punishment; but the

punishment of the Hereafter is

greater, if they only knew.

تِ ٣٤

جَ نمْ

ِ

ه

ند عِ

َ

ينقِ

َّ

ت

ُ

ْ

لِ ل

َّ

ن

ِ

ي مِ عِ إ

ٱ ل ن

34 For the righteous are Gardens of

Delight with their Lord.

٣٥

عَ لجْ َن

َ

ف

َ

أ

َ

ينمِلِ

ْ

سمُ

ْ

ٱل

َ

ك

َ

ينمِ

ِ

رجْمُ

ْ

ٱل

35 Shall We treat the Muslims like the

villains?
