fields interrupted by juniper, wild fig and almond trees. The village of Tazouggart , on the
opposite side of the valley, marks a more-than-halfway point between Sebt Aït Bououili and the
day’s end at Rougoult. The landscape becomes ever more Shangri-la-like until, after two to 2½
hours, you reach Rougoult (1850m). Here you’ll find a Tifra River camp site and possible
homestays (per person Dh30) – ask around to see who has space.
