of Mac widgets) in macOS 10.15
Catalina, this would have seemed
like the perfect progression, but we
have yet to see it implemented. In
more recent Mac operating systems,
the widgets are accessible via your
Notification Centre, which you can
access by clicking on the ‘date &
time’ to the right of your Mac’s menu
bar. You can change which widgets
are displayed and more from here, as
you will see from the following steps.2Edit your widgets
Scroll down to the bottom of your
Notification Centre,and then click on the
‘Edit Widgets’ option. The widget edit screen
will now consume your desktop.1
Access your widgets
Click on the date & time in your Mac’s
menu bar to view your Notification Centre.
It slides in from the side of the screen, and
this is where your widgets will be displayed.3Remove widgets
You can remove widgets that you
don’t need by clicking on the ‘–’ icon in the
top-left corner. You can thenstart adding
the stuff that you do want displayed.5Add and re-order
Click on the green ‘+’ icon in the top-left
corner of your new widget to add it to your
Notification Centre. Now drag the widget up
or down to reposition it where you want.4Create a widget
All of the apps with widgets will be
displayed in a list to the left. Click on an
app to see the widget and then select a
size: Small, Medium or Large.Is it possible to

Manage your notifications
Remember that you can manage
all of the alerts that appear in your
Notification Centre by going to
System Preferences>Notifications.
Here you can turn off notifications
for particular apps and determine
exactly how your other apps end
you alerts. All new alerts will appear
at the top of your Notification
Centre above your active widgets.
