viii. Acknowledgments
In a field of tall grass, with only the wind for company, there is a
language that transcends the differences between scientific and
traditional understandings, the data or the prayer. The wind moves
through and carries the grass song. It sounds to me like
mishhhhkos, over and over again on ripples of moving grass. After
all it has taught us, I want to say thank you.
